I’m sure many of you did the same as I did and read over that line where Hermione says Ron gave her perfume for Christmas. Or maybe you just stopped for a second, just looking at it, or saying “OMG what? Perfume?” But something along those lines anyway. But that line was just screaming “Ron/Hermione!” it really was. I mean, every year, Ron and Harry both give Hermione candy or some kind of book, or something to do with school. And then suddenly, Ron goes and gives Hermione perfume! But Harry still gives her a book. Now that has to be saying something! I really think there’s something behind that. Ron really had to think about the present this year. Girls would be harder to buy for at 15 and I’d say before that they’d just say “hmmm I’ll just get this book” or just give her some kind of candy. You know? This perfume thing is just really, really important, I think.
